(The orchestra begins)

(Michael jumps off the stage onto the street with the 50,000 other people in Times Square.
He reaches out and touches the hands of the ecstatic fans behind the barriers.)



Michael:

Hazy-eyed, they catch my glance.









Pleasant shudders shake their senses.
My warm momentum throws their stance...

(The fans reach back to him with cheers & excitement
until...

Two rather large police officers remind Michael
where the stage is...

This inspires laughter and cries of disappointment
from the fans nearest the stage)






Michael: (continuing as he runs up the stairs back onstage)

(Michael leaps up onto a handy nearby pole)
